Going Cloth

Whoever thought of using velcros and snaps in cloth diapers is pure genius.  One of the reasons I started using disposables is because I accidentally clamped my daughter's skin when I tried to fasten the diapers in its place.  You can imagine how horrified I was when I heard my daughter cry out in pain.

I made the decision on going back to Cloth diaper when I found out how much we're spending on disposables and when I saw the Modern Cloth diapers.  You don't have to use clips or pins unlike the old traditional way.  The one that I fell in love with are Pocket Diapers with Snaps.

The prices of these diapers depend on the Brand and the type of Diapers.  Some can go as low as 200 php and would go as high as 1000 php.  It may be quite the investment at first but these are diapers that you can wash and use over and over again.

A TIP: If you have plans in using cloth diapers, start buying when you're pregnant.  Buy in bulk if you can or watch out for the Sale.

Do you know that it takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose? I'd like to think I am helping the environment by doing this and save a lot of money in the process.
