I can't believe that my medical leave is OVER! I was able to secure clearance from my physician and the company doctor that I am fit to go back to work. Why the mixed emotions?
I look forward to going back to doing the things that I am good at. I look forward to the next fat paycheck. I look forward to seeing my colleagues and friends and I can't wait to jump into the project that I was working on until I got sick.
And there's the big BUT.
I feel a little uncertain going back because I don't know which campaign I will be assigned to. Will I be supporting the same account or a different account? Will I be managing the same team or start a new one?
Life in the BPO industry is not really certain in a sense that people get transferred from one campaign to another depending on the immediate need. But whatever the outcome, I'm sure it's something that I can handle.

ReplyDeleteHOw long were you out? Did you get reassigned or are you back with your old team? I can understand the anxiety about going back. Good thing for me was that I was pretty sure i was going back to my old team. That was also why I didn't try to extend my leave longer than three weeks.
