If you have been following my blog, you will probably notice one thing – I love going to Bazaars and Baby Fairs. It’s not like I have gazillions of cash to spend but I actually like checking out what I could buy at a fraction of a cost. One Mega Sale that I look forward to is the Baby Company’s Grand Baby Fair.
Because we don’t have a nanny, we ended up
taking our son with us to Megamall. We
arrived at almost 12noon on a Friday and was pretty surprised that there were
already a lot of shoppers – contrary to what I was expecting.
Expect a lot of discounts from the exhibitors. Playtex for one is selling sippy cups for 150php. I would have bought one if my son don't have too much of these at home. Avent is selling their standard bottle for only 300php and wide neck bottles for 600php (9oz) and 550php (4 oz). Great prices if you ask me considering that they produce quality products.
It's a Candyland Theme. Love the play of colors. |
Happy with his "Boobrush" from Sansflou |
There's more. If you purchase at least 3000php, you get a SWAG BAG with lots of Freebies inside. Not all Swag bags contain the same items but anyone can be pretty happy with all these free goodies.

We went home that day with items that we came there for. The items that we bought didn't qualify us to get the Swag Bag but I am sooo glad (so is my hubby) that we stayed within our budget this time. Here's what we took home:
Replacement Valves for my son’s sippy cup –
bought it for 95php. Regular price was around 200php
Elle mini skirt for my daughter – bought it for 300php
Smart Steps Bottle Cleanser – A pack contains a
400ml cleanser with dispenser and two 250ml refill and a free bottle for only
262php. When you buy 500php worth of
Smart Steps products you get a Baby Bottle Keeper. We don’t have a lot of bottles at home but I
figure we could use the container to store other baby items like toys.
Smart Steps Disney Mosquito Patch – only 95php
for 2 packs of 12 patches. My daughter
is crazy about Phineas and Ferb so we bought one for her.
Sansflou Toothbrush – 95php. Their toothbrush is just adorable
Tiny Buds Scratch off – 143php. Great for mosquito and insect bites.
Safety 1st Grooming Kit – FREE. Won this at the
Grand Baby Fair. Yay!!
Don’t miss the last day of the Grand Baby Fair
tomorrow at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls 2 and 3. If you are an expectant mom, a new mom or a
mom who’s in the look out for discounts (like me), head to SM Megamall
later today.
It must be a delight to be amongst the many products for babies you'll discover and learn while in this event plus the discounted price you'll get from the participating brands :)
ReplyDeletetrue that. and the free samples too.
DeleteYou are lucky to have many fairs in Manila!
ReplyDeleteits a blessing and a curse....curse sa bulsa. hahaha
DeleteOne of the most awaited fairs always, also the baby sale in September.
ReplyDeletethat's right. we were also at the Grand baby fair last year. :)
DeleteKids these days are so much more lucky with so many toy choices as well as intellectual, beautiful choices! ... and most of all, they have safe toys now! As for other baby needs, everything is there to make things comfortable for the baby and for the Mom!
ReplyDeletei agree. Dami na din kasi na invest sa reasearch kaya mas madaming choices na for the kids.
Deleteyou really searched for sale and went with your baby, di ba mahirap?
ReplyDeleteyou are a steadfast mom
at times mahirap. pero if the kid gets cranky i just wear him and he usually falls asleep. pag gising naman, i have crackers and minsan i give him items na napili ko na to keep him busy. para paraan lang. lol
DeleteI hear dof this announcement. Medyo malayo kasi sa amin and I hate driving in EDSA damii ng bus, traffic pa sa ibang areas.
ReplyDeletehate ko din ung traffic kaya we took the MRT instead. i really need the replacement valves na kasi and the cleanser.
DeleteGreat finds, sis! Ako namn, the best fair for me are food fairs!! I can spend hours just gazing at different kinds of foodies.
ReplyDeletethanks sis. omg! past time din namin ni hubby yan. kung kami lang dalawa ha. tapos you wish na you have enough space sa tyan mo to fit all those food kasi you want to try them all!
DeleteI want that safety grooming kit. Sayang naman nito I was in Manila on January 24-27 kung that time lang sana ito, for sure I'll visit the fair.
ReplyDeleteay sayang. they have the Grand baby fair yearly. balik na lang ulit next year. or some other sale. :)
DeleteI missed this again! Hopefully maka-attend din ako sa Baby Company's Grand Baby Fair because I heard and daming good buys e. And I want to get that Swag bag hehe.
ReplyDeleteMommy Maye
So cool to attend a baby fair and buy things at a bargain. IT must have been a great shopping trip for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a ton of fun... I love fairs where you get goodie samples too. :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I forgot to add my blog to this week's bc list, a visit would be appreciated.

Meron ba nito pag last quarter ng taon? Although I do not have kids, I might as well find simple kits for my nephews and nieces.
ReplyDeletegreat stuff for your baby; i see myself in you, when i was a new mom i always buy baby stuff
ReplyDeletecool! i like freebies too..
ReplyDeleteI think you got a really good deal. The best part is that you stood by your budget and was not bent on getting that swag bag. Though they have freebies inside, you'd end up purchasing more than you intended just to avail that.
ReplyDeleteYou do have great finds over there! :) Staying within the budget given all the temptations of sales all around is challenging! Good job mommy! :)
ReplyDeleteAng daming discounts! Good for you :)
ReplyDeleteHow time flies for me! My kids and I don't go to toy stores anymore. LOL We go to sports stores, though, which are more expensive! Waaa... Like yesteday, we just them new ankle support, a new basketball, and shuttlecock.
ReplyDeleteAy sayang naman. I was looking forward to this kasi akala ko meron din sa Davao. Wala pala. :-(
ReplyDeleteBaby fair! very nice. This looks fun! Well i think we will be needing more of things for the toddlers.
